Intruder spent over 90 minutes inside BJP MP DK Aruna’s residence in Hyderabad, no property loss reported

Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, together with West Zone DCP SM Vijay Kumar and ACP Venkatagiri, visited BJP MP DK Aruna’s residence in Jubilee Hills on Monday (March 17, 2025) following a break-in by an unidentified individual on Sunday.

CCTV footage reveals the intruder, carrying gloves and a masks, spending roughly 1 hour and 35 minutes contained in the property, stated DCP (West), S.M. Vijay Kumar. “He took about 10 minutes to realize entry, cautiously moved round for an additional 10 minutes, and spent almost 15-20 minutes in one of many halls,” stated the officer.

“From the second he jumped the fence to his exit, the whole incident lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes,” he added.

Police groups, together with eight particular models, are reviewing CCTV footage and inspecting the routes utilized by the intruder. Officers inspected the terrace, backyard, and kitchen and later organized extra safety on the residence. Ms. Aruna, the Mahabubnagar MP, was not current on the time, as she was attending official occasions in her constituency.
