New Delhi: Bombay Inventory Change (BSE) and Nationwide Inventory Change (NSE) of India will stay closed on Friday (18 April 2025) on account of Good Friday.

On Good Friday, buying and selling will probably be suspended on main platforms together with the BSE and NSE inventory exchanges, in addition to the commodity exchanges MCX and NCDEX, and the bond markets. Market actions will resume on Monday, April 21, 2025. 

Buying and selling will start with a 15-minute pre-opening session at 9:00 am, adopted by common buying and selling from 9:15 am onwards on BSE and NSE.

Common buying and selling hours will resume, with the morning session working from 9:00 am to five:00 pm, and the night session from 5:00 pm till 11:30/11:55 pm on MCX.

As many as 2,427 shares superior whereas 1,522 declined and 157 remained unchanged on the BSE.

The NSE Nifty surged 414.45 factors or 1.77 % to 23,851.65.

In 4 days, the BSE benchmark jumped 4,706.05 factors or 6.37 %, and the Nifty surged 1,452.5 factors or 6.48 %.
