IRCTC Web site Down, Customers Affected As Outage Timings Conflict With Tatkal Ticket Bookings | Expertise Information
New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Company (IRCTC), the ticketing arms of Indian Railways, suffered outage affecting each app and web site on Monday morning (November 9).
As per media studies, the timing of the outage has irked the customers most as a result of it clashed with the precise timings for tatkal ticket reserving.
A number of customers throughout India reported points on Downdetector, the platform that screens service disruptions. Customers witnessed issues, with some unable to log in whereas others mentioned that their Tatkal bookings had been massively impacted.
In the meantime, IRCTC in its downtime message has mentioned, “On account of upkeep exercise, e-ticketing service is not going to be obtainable for subsequent one hour. Please attempt later.
