Israeli military assaults targets close to Syria-Lebanon border

The Israeli Air Power carried out airstrikes on “weapon-smuggling routes” and army infrastructure close to the Syrian-Lebanese border in a single day, the Israel Protection Forces (IDF) stated in a press release. In response to the IDF on 6 December, Friday, the routes had been utilized by Hezbollah to move weapons, Xinhua information company reported.

“This strike is a part of the IDF’s ongoing efforts to dismantle weapon-smuggling routes operated by the Syrian regime alongside the Syrian-Lebanese border in current weeks,” the assertion stated. The IDF emphasised that the strikes had been aimed toward weakening Hezbollah’s Unit 4400, which it described as accountable for smuggling arms utilized in “terror assaults” towards Israeli civilians and troops. The assertion added, “The IDF won’t permit Hezbollah to rearm or rebuild its capabilities.”
