ISRO appoints M. Mohan as director of Liquid Propulsion Techniques Centre in Thiruvananthapuram

M. Mohan has been appointed as director of the Liquid Propulsion Techniques Centre (LPSC) situated in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.
Mr. Mohan, who’s at present Director (Initiatives) on the Vikram Sarabhai Area Centre (VSSC), succeeds V. Narayanan because the LPSC director. ISRO issued his appointment order on January 25.
Mr. Mohan was director of the Human Area Flight Centre from June 2023 to June 2024. Previous to that, he has held varied positions, together with Affiliate Director, VSSC (Analysis and Growth), mission director of the Geosynchronous Satellite tv for pc Launch Car (GSLV) and mission director of profitable GSLV-F08/GSAT-6A and GSLV-F11/GSAT-7A missions in 2018.
He has additionally held the positions of mission director of the Cryogenic Higher Stage (CUS) and the Area Capsule Restoration Mission (SRE-2). He was additionally system chief of the Moon Affect Probe (MIP) mission for the Chandrayaan – 1 mission.
Mr. Mohan hails from Alappuzha. His spouse, Deepa, is working within the State Irrigation division. The couple has two sons.
