ITBP Bus Plunges Into J&Ks Sindh River; Search Underway For Personnel, Lacking Weapons | VIDEO

A joint search and rescue operation is presently underway within the Kullan space of Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, after a bus carrying Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans veered off the Kullan bridge and plunged into the River Sindh. The incident occurred in the present day, Wednesday.

Groups from SDRF Ganderbal and SDRF Sub Element Gund have launched a complete operation to find any lacking personnel and get well tools. Authorities have confirmed that some weapons from the bus are presently unaccounted for. To this point, three weapons have been efficiently recovered from the river.
The complete extent of casualties, if any, among the many ITBP personnel aboard the bus is but to be confirmed because the rescue efforts proceed. Additional particulars are awaited because the operation progresses within the difficult riverine terrain.
