Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar denied allegations that get together colleague Sunil Tatkare tried to lure rival faction members to modify sides
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday refuted allegations that his get together colleague Sunil Tatkare had referred to as members of the rival faction headed by Sharad Pawar to get them to modify sides.
NCP (SP) MLA and former state minister Jitendra Awhad had on Wednesday alleged that Sunil Tatkare, state chief of the Ajit Pawar-led NCP, had requested MPs to “go away the daddy and daughter”, an obvious reference to Sharad Pawar and his daughter, Baramati MP Supriya Sule.
“It’s all a lie. Three to 4 MPs (from NCP-SP )- Nilesh Lanke, Amar Kale and two extra have clarified in entrance of the media that they haven’t been contacted by Tatkare or anybody else. If these persons are saying that they haven’t acquired any calls, why to stage allegations,” the deputy CM mentioned.
Tatkare mentioned such baseless allegations had been being made to maintain the NCP (SP) flock collectively after the drubbing it acquired within the November meeting polls.
