Jeevanji Deepthi from Telangana to get Arjuna Award for excellent efficiency
A para athlete from Telangana, Jeevanji Deepthi, has been chosen for Arjuna Award for excellent efficiency in sports activities and video games in 2024. Ms. Deepthi gained a bronze medal within the ladies’s 400m T20 class race within the Paris Paralympics in September, 2024. The T20 class is supposed for athletes with mental impairment.
Sportspersons, coaches who gained Main Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, Arjuna Awards for excellent efficiency in Sports activities and Video games, Arjuna Awards (Lifetime) for excellent efficiency in Sports activities and Video games, Dronacharya Award for excellent coaches in Sports activities and Video games, Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar and others for the yr 2024 had been introduced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports activities on Thursday (January 2, 2025). Ms. Deepthi was one among the many 32 sportspersons who gained the Arjuna Awards for the yr.
