Lucknow: A prison carrying a money reward of Rs 2.5 lakh was killed in an encounter in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur, police stated on Saturday.

“Anuj Kanaujia, a shooter of Mukhtar gang, who was carrying a money reward of Rs 2.5 lakh was killed in an encounter after a heavy alternate of fireplace in Jamshedpur with a joint group of UP STF and Jharkhand Police,” stated Further Director Normal of Police (UP Particular Job Pressure, legislation and order) Amitabh Yash.
