Karnataka CM hints at tabling caste census in subsequent cupboard assembly

The Chairperson of the Fee for Backward Lessons, Ok. Jayaprakash Hegde, submitted the socio-economic and schooling survey report, generally often called the caste census report, to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on 29 February, 2024.

It has triggered a debate amongst varied backward communities as some have opposed it.

State Legislation and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H.Ok. Patil mentioned on 2 January throughout the cupboard briefing that the cupboard would talk about the caste census in its subsequent assembly.
