Karnataka State Movie Awards 2020 introduced: Prajwal Devaraj, Akshatha Pandavapura named finest actors

The Karnataka State movie awards for 2020 have been introduced on Monday. Prajwal Devaraj and Akshatha Pandavapura have been named the very best actors within the female and male classes, respectively.

Prajwal gained the award for his efficiency in Gentleman, directed by Jadesh Kumar Hampi. Akshatha clinched the honour for her effort within the social thriller Pinki Elli, directed by Prithvi Konanur.

Actor Sanchari Vijay, identified for his movies equivalent to Naanu Avanalla Avalu… (2015), Nathicharami (2018), and Taledanda (2021), was posthumously awarded the Particular Jury Award. Vijay handed away in a motorcycle accident on June 15, 2021. The State awards choice committee was led by nationwide award successful filmmaker B.S. Lingadevaru.
