Large Terror Assault Plan Foiled In Punjab; Cops Seize 2RPGs, IEDs, Grenades, RDX | India Information

Punjab Police on Saturday claimed have arrested 13 individuals and busted two main ISI-backed Khalistani terror modules that have been being run from overseas. The police additionally seized two rocket-propelled grenades, two hand grenades, IEDs and RDX together with different munitions.

Briefing in regards to the terror module bust, Director Basic of Police Gaurav Yadav stated that the primary terror module was operated by France-based Satnam Singh, alias Satta, and the second by Greece-based Jaswinder, alias Mannu Agwan. 

These modules, which have been backed by Pakistan’s spy company Inter-Providers Intelligence (ISI), have been being operated by a proscribed terrorist outfit, Babbar Khalsa Worldwide (BKI), from overseas, Yadav stated. He stated a case has been registered underneath the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Explosives Act in Amritsar. Concerning the second terror module, Yadav stated 9 operatives have been arrested. The case has been registered underneath the UAPA and the Explosives Act in Batala.
