Lions Membership fingers over insulin cartridges to welfare society

Functionaries of Lions Membership District 318E protecting Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod and Wayanad districts and Mahe, which is a part of the Union Territory of Puducherry, have handed over 200 cartridges of slow-acting insulin to Sort 1 Diabetic Welfare Society Kerala for distribution amongst affected kids.
This was in response to a latest information report in The Hindu, which highlighted the issues of the youngsters and their dad and mom in view of some modifications within the ‘Mittayi’ scheme of the Kerala Social Safety Mission.
The assets had been mobilised by a crew led by district governor Ravi Gupta, and Avni Skandhan, chief district coordinator for diabetes.
The insulin cartridges had been formally acquired by T.R. Vijesh, president, and B. Roopesh, secretary, of the affiliation, within the presence of businessman Gokulam Gopalan, at an occasion held at Sree Gokulam Conference Centre, Balussery, just lately.
