A tragic accident in Payal, on Wednesday, claimed the lifetime of a Class 12 scholar, whereas two others sustained accidents after their bike was hit by a truck on their manner again house from an examination centre.

In response to station home officer (SHO) Sandeep Kumar, the three had been college students at Authorities Senior Secondary College, Payal. Their laptop science examination was held at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Vidya Mandir, Dhamot. After the examination, they had been heading again to Payal on a motorbike when a rushing truck hit their automobile.

Harkirat Singh died on the spot. Rajdeep was first taken to Payal and later referred to a hospital in Khanna earlier than being shifted to Sector-32 Hospital in Chandigarh. In the meantime, Gursewak Singh is present process remedy at a personal hospital in Khanna.

The police have traced the truck, and efforts are being made to arrest the driving force on the earliest, stated SHO Sandeep
