Madhya Pradesh CM declares hike in dearness allowance from 50% to 55%

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday introduced a hike in dearness allowance from 50 per cent to 55 per cent for all state authorities workers.

In a publish on X, CM Mohan Yadav stated, “I’m pleased to tell all the workers of Madhya Pradesh Authorities that we’re making Dearness Allowance (DA) 55 % like that of Central Authorities workers, through which we’re approving further installment of three per cent from 01 July 2024 and a pair of % from 01 January 2025, attributable to which the Dearness Allowance will improve from 50 % to 55 % within the current state of affairs.”

Earlier within the day, towards the backdrop of the current Pahalgam terror assault, the Chief Minister held an important assembly with state police officers to overview measures for figuring out and expelling Pakistani nationals from the state, following the directives of the Centre.

He stated the State authorities had already taken proactive steps to determine Pakistani nationals staying in Madhya Pradesh underneath short-term or non-official visas and to make sure their departure in accordance with the stipulated tips.

Addressing the assembly on Saturday, the Chief Minister stated, “In accordance with the instructions given to the Madhya Pradesh authorities by the Honourable Prime Minister and the revered Residence Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji, I held a gathering in the present day. We’ve got made preparations to expel from the state these Pakistani visa holders who usually are not on long-term or official visas.” (ANI)
