Maharashtra ATS conducts searches in Thane in terror case

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Monday performed searches in Thane district, together with on the residence of a former SIMI office-bearer, in reference to a terrorism-related case, officers stated.

An ATS crew together with the Thane rural police began searches within the morning at Padgha village within the district, an official stated with out elaborating.

The residence of Saquib Nachan, former office-bearer of the banned College students Islamic Motion of India (SIMI), was among the many premises searched by the ATS crew, he stated.
