Main fireplace breaks out at ED workplace in Mumbai, no accidents reported

A serious fireplace broke out on the ED workplace constructing in south Mumbai’s Ballard Property space early on Sunday, civic officers stated and added there have been no stories of any accidents.

The fireplace brigade obtained a name concerning the blaze on the multistorey Kaiser-I-Hind constructing, which homes the Enforcement Directorate (ED) workplace, close to the Grand Resort on Currimbhoy Highway round 2:31 am, the officers stated.

Hearth brigade groups rushed to the spot and started firefighting operations. Round 3:30 am, the fireplace was upgraded to Stage-II, which is mostly thought of a serious fireplace, the fireplace brigade management room confirmed.

A civic official stated the fireplace was confined to the fourth ground of the five-storey constructing.

The official stated eight fireplace engines, six jumbo tankers, one aerial water tower tender, one respiratory equipment van, one rescue van, one fast response car, and an ambulance from the 108 service had been deployed to the spot.

The reason for the fireplace is but to be ascertained, the official added.
