Singer and actress Marianne Faithfull has died on the age of 78, her spokesperson mentioned.
She made her debut within the swinging 60s with the Mick Jagger/Keith Richards composition As Tears Go By, earlier than later writing and recording her personal songs, together with for her smoky-voiced 1979 comeback album Damaged English.
