Minor Lady Lacking Since 2023 Rescued From Rajasthan’s Pali, 5 Arrested | India Information
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has rescued a minor woman from Pali, Rajasthan. She had gone lacking from Bardhaman, West Bengal, since August 2023. The case was registered by CBI on February 16, 2024, in compliance with the order dated February 8, 2024, handed by the Excessive Courtroom of Calcutta in W.P. No. 793 of 2024.
The lacking woman had disappeared on August 9, 2023, when she had gone for tuition and didn’t return. It was believed that she had been kidnapped.
Initially, the case was investigated by the native police after which by the CID, West Bengal. Thereafter, on the petition of the mom of the lacking woman, the Excessive Courtroom at Calcutta transferred the case to the CBI.
Primarily based on the knowledge acquired from sources and CDR (Name Element Report) evaluation, leads had been obtained that the lacking woman might need been despatched to district Pali in Rajasthan.
Accordingly, the CBI staff visited Pali, Rajasthan, and after verifying the knowledge, the lacking woman was recovered from the residence of the accused at Pali, Rajasthan, on August 8, 2025.
The investigation revealed that the lacking woman was a minor when she went lacking and was proven as a serious within the affidavits created for her marriage. She was offered twice for marriage. It’s suspected that this incident might be a part of an even bigger human trafficking community.
After the rescue of the woman, CBI arrested 5 individuals on August 8, in reference to the case and produced them within the Courtroom of Judicial Justice of the Peace, Marwad Junction, District Pali on August 9, 2025, which granted Transit Remand for 3 days in respect of all accused individuals for his or her manufacturing earlier than the Courtroom of Extra District & Classes Decide at Purba Bardhaman in West Bengal.
