Minor lady sexually assaulted in Hassan

A person allegedly sexually assaulted a minor lady in a village in Belur taluk on Tuesday. The sufferer’s dad and mom lodged a grievance with Halebidu police on Wednesday.

Based on the dad and mom, the incident occurred when the lady was alone at house. They went to fulfill a relative. On return, they noticed the accused working out of the home. After they inquired about their daughter, they got here to know that she had been sexually assaulted.

The dad and mom took her to the district hospital. The police registered the case underneath the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and part 64 of the BNS. The police have launched a probe.
