Taking cognisance of the video, district collector Dilip Kumar Yadav directed the district schooling officer, OP Singh, to take motion in opposition to the trainer, the official mentioned. He mentioned the video was circulated to officers of various blocks, and the trainer was later recognized as Lal Naveen Pratap Singh.

The official mentioned Singh was suspended instantly beneath the MP Civil Providers (Conduct) Guidelines on fees of misconduct, encouraging kids to drink liquor and tarnishing the dignity of a trainer. The purported video exhibits a person providing a drink to younger boys in cups in a room, and he’s heard telling one among them to combine water earlier than consuming the drink.
