Mumbai College Points Levels With ‘Mumabai’ Typo Due To Printing Error

In a significant embarrassment, Mumbai College has issued commencement certificates with the identify of the metropolis misspelt as ‘Mumabai’.

In 2023-24, a complete of 1.64 lakh college students graduated, although it isn’t clear as of now what number of obtained certificates which had “College of Mumabai” printed on them.

“Attributable to a printing error, some certificates had this typo. We’re rectifying it,” a College of Mumbai official instructed PTI on Saturday.

Recent certificates shall be issued at no further price, the official added.
