NDA wins no-confidence movement towards Mayor Hari Venkata Kumari

In a big growth within the Better Visakhapatnam Municipal Company (GVMC), the Nationwide Democratic Alliance (NDA) comprising of Telugu Desam Get together (TDP), Jana Sena Get together (JSP), Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) has gained the no-confidence movement towards Mayor (YSRCP) G. Hari Venkata Kumari. The no-confidence assembly was organised by district Collector and in-charge GVMC Commissioner, M.N. Harendhira Prasad on the company workplace on Saturday (April 19, 2025).

After the assembly, Anakapalli MP C.M. Ramesh has introduced that as many as 74 corporators and ex-officio members have voted towards Mayor within the no-confidence belief assembly, resulting in unanimous victory of the NDA.

Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has mentioned that is the tip of ‘undemocratic’ YSRCP rule within the GVMC. He additionally mentioned they are going to elect a brand new Mayor from the NDA quickly.
