Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen was hospitalized Sunday after he was thrown off a horse, his workplace mentioned. 

Pillen, 68, was using on horseback with members of the family on Sunday when he was “bucked off a brand new horse and was injured,” his workplace mentioned in a information launch. 

The Republican governor was transported to Columbus Neighborhood Hospital “out of an abundance of warning,” then transported to the College of Nebraska Medical Heart in Omaha.
