NIT Calicut Professor accused of praising Nathuram Godse appointed as Dean, Congress slams Centre | Schooling

Slamming the Modi authorities over the appointment of an NIT-Calicut professor who’s accused of praising Mahatma Gandhi’s murderer Nathuram Godse as a Dean, the Congress stated this was a part of its mindset to “applicable Gandhi, glorify Godse”.
In an order issued by the Director of the Nationwide Institute of Expertise-Calicut (NIT), Dr Shaija A has been appointed because the Dean of the Planning and Improvement Division, with impact from March 7.

The order from the NIT-Calicut Director has instructed Shaija to work alongside the present Dean, Dr Priya Chandran, till March 7 to facilitate a “easy changeover”.
As per the order, this appointment is initially for 2 years, till additional orders.
