Over 40 injured as KSRTC buses collide in Kannur

Over 40 passengers sustained accidents after two Kerala State Street Transport Company (KSRTC) buses collided at Kallerimala in Peravoor on Monday. The accident concerned a bus travelling from Mananthavady to Payyannur and one other plying on the Iritty-Mananthavady route.

The injured had been admitted to hospitals at Iritty and Peravoor, and their situation was reported to be steady.

The accident triggered disruption of visitors alongside the busy Iritty-Peravoor route.
