A report by the Hindustan Instances stated Myanmar’s Chinland Council (CC) and the Interim Chin Nationwide Consultative Council (ICNCC) signed a
merger settlement within the presence of Lalduhoma in Aizawl on February 26.

Jacob V Zawma, a steering committee member of CC and coordinator of the negotiating group stated that having two our bodies from the Chin group was “counterproductive” and that’s why the 2 teams merged.
The Chief Minister’s workplace informed the information outlet that after the merger, the 2 teams might be known as Chin Nationwide Council (CNC).
Mizoram MLA Lalmuanpuia Punte stated that the chief minister made efforts to unite the 2 Chin armed teams at a request from the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA).
