Parbhani man kills spouse for giving start to a few daughters; held for homicide

A person allegedly murdered his spouse in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district after she gave start to the couple’s third daughter, a police official mentioned on Saturday (December 28, 2024).

Kundlik Uttam Kale (32) killed his spouse Maina in Gangakhed Naka, some 520 kilometres from right here, on Thursday night time, the official mentioned.

As per the criticism submitted by Maina’s sister, the accused used to taunt his spouse over giving start to a few daughters and would steadily choose up fights along with her on this problem, the official mentioned.

“On Thursday night time, after one such argument, he poured petrol on her and set her ablaze. She ran out of the home screaming the place folks tried to douse the fireplace. Nevertheless, by then she was severely burnt and died whereas being rushed to a hospital,” the official mentioned.

Kale has been arrested for homicide, the Gangakhed police station official knowledgeable.
