Parliament Session Right now Stay: The chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf (Modification) Invoice, Jagdambika Pal, on Tuesday defended the central authorities’s intentions, stating that the purpose is to deliver a “clear invoice” regardless of sturdy opposition from varied political events.

Talking to the media forward of the Lok Sabha session, Pal prompt that the protests surrounding the invoice had been a part of a “well-thought-out technique.”

The federal government is more likely to deliver the Waqf (Modification) Invoice, 2024, to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday (April 2), after which within the Rajya Sabha. The price range session is scheduled to finish on April 4.
