A canine named Petunia nabbed the title Friday night within the “World’s Ugliest Canine Contest,” on the Sonoma County Honest in Santa Rosa, California. Petunia and her proprietor, Shannon Nyman, walked away with $5,000 and bragging rights.
The competition has been happening for almost 50 years, organizers mentioned, and is a “testomony that the pedigree doesn’t outline the pet.”
