New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Indian-American musician Chandrika Tandon on successful the Grammy award for her album ‘Triveni’ and likewise recommended her ardour in direction of Indian tradition and accomplishments as an entrepreneur, philanthropist and musician.

“I fondly recall assembly her in New York in 2023,” he added.

Indian-origin singer Chandrika Tandon received the Grammy Award within the Greatest New Age, Ambient or Chant Album class for the album ‘Triveni’. She received this honour by defeating Ricky Kej and Anoushka Shankar.

Notably, Chandrika Tandon is the sister of former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, a reputation that reverberated within the company world and mirrored the emergence of ladies as world leaders.

The 67th Grammy was held on Sunday in Los Angeles. She received the award alongside together with her colleagues, South African flautist Wouter Kellerman and Japanese cellist Eru Matsumoto.

The Indian consulate in New York additionally congratulated the musician over Grammy honour.
