Police jawan killed, 3 injured as IED planted by Maoists explodes in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur

A police jawan was killed and three different personnel have been injured as an improvised explosive machine (IED) planted by Maoists exploded in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, studies stated on Monday, citing officers.
The explosion occurred on Monday morning in Indravati Nationwide Park space when a group of District Reserve Guard (DRG), a unit of the state police, was out on an anti-Naxal operation, PTI information company quoted a senior official as saying.
DRG jawan Dinesh Nag was killed within the blast and three different personnel suffered accidents, the above-mentioned official stated.
He stated the injured personnel have been administered preliminary therapy and have been being evacuated from the forest.
