The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, has expressed deep sorrow on the passing of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

In a condolence message, the Prince described Dr. Singh as “one of many nice sons of the soil” whose legacy consists of vital contributions to nationwide integration, secularism, and communal concord. Praising Dr. Singh’s patriotism, the Prince highlighted his unwavering dedication to the welfare of backward courses and minorities. He recalled the honour of assembly the previous Prime Minister twice in New Delhi, throughout visits with minority delegation.

In his message, the Prince provided heartfelt condolences to Dr. Singh’s household and prayed for his soul to relaxation in peace.
