President Droupadi Murmu on Monday (July 14, 2025) appointed Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh because the Governor for Haryana, in keeping with a press launch from the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh joined the BJP in 1991 and was appointed because the West Bengal BJP president from 1999–2002. He’ll takeover as Governor from Bandaru Dattatreya, who held the place since July 7, 2021.
Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju was additionally appointed as Governor of Goa, and Kavinder Gupta was appointed as Lieutenant Governor for Ladakh, the discharge added.
