Punjab Blasts Accused Terrorist And ‘Wished Gangster’ Joyful Passia Arrested In US

The terrorist Harpreet Singh, alias Joyful Passia, who was allegedly answerable for terror assaults in Punjab, was arrested in the US.
The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) had introduced a Rs. 5 lakh money reward in January 2025 towards the “wished gangster” Joyful Passia within the Chandigarh grenade assault case.
In a launch of the investigating company, it was clarified that Joyful Passia is an absconder in an NIA case, registered on October 1, 2024, in reference to the hand grenade assault on a home in Chandigarh.
“The case was registered on the NIA Police Station, New Delhi beneath sections 13 and 16 of UA (P) Act, part(s) 109, 351(2), 333 and 61 of BNS, and sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Explosive Substance Act 1908,” the discharge learn.

Joyful Pasia Arrested In US

NIA’s Chargesheet Towards Joyful Passia
Earlier in March, NIA had chargesheeted 4 terror operatives of the Babbar Khalsa Worldwide (BKI) terrorist organisation within the Chandigarh grenade assault case. The accused within the chargesheet included the US-based Joyful Passia, a Pakistan-based Designated Particular person Terrorist, Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda.
