Punjab Police arrests 2 operatives of terror module with IED containing RDX

Two operatives of a terror module had been arrested with an improvised explosive gadget (IED) containing RDX, a senior Punjab Police official on Sunday mentioned.
Punjab Director Common of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav mentioned the accused — recognized as Jagga Singh and Manjinder Singh — had been key operatives of the phobia module operated by Germany-based Gurpreet Singh alias Goldy Dhillon, who’s a detailed operative of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
“In a significant breakthrough, Counter Intelligence, #Ferozepur arrests Jagga Singh and Manjinder Singh, key operatives of a terror module operated by #Germany-based Gurpreet Singh @ Goldy Dhillon, a detailed operative of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang and foils plans of #Pakistan’s ISI to disturb peace and concord within the area,” he mentioned in a submit on X.

The DGP mentioned {that a} 2.8 kg IED containing 1.6 kg RDX and a distant management have been recovered from them.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the IED was meant for a focused terror assault, he added.
Yadav mentioned the NIA has declared a reward of ₹10 lakh on Dhillon.
A case has been registered beneath the Explosive Substances Act.
