Rajasthan authorities worker held for spying for Pakistan

A Rajasthan State authorities worker was detained in Jaisalmer on suspicion of espionage for Pakistan, an official stated on Thursday (Could 29, 2025).

Shakur Khan was detained on Wednesday (Could 28, 2025) evening by an intelligence division staff who had been appearing on security-related inputs.

Mr Khan, who works within the district employment workplace, was discovered to have telephone numbers related to Pakistan saved on his system, the official stated.

“There have been inputs about Shakur Khan that he could possibly be concerned in spying for Pakistan. He was on surveillance following inputs and was detained final evening,” the officer stated.

A joint interrogation was performed in Jaisalmer following which the staff left for Jaipur with Mr Khan.
