World Financial institution President Ajay Banga has stated that the multilateral company has no position to play past a facilitator within the Indus Water Treaty signed between India and Pakistan in 1960 for sharing of waters of Indus, Jhelum, and Chenab.

India has suspended the decades-old Indus Water Treaty within the wake of the killing of 26 vacationers in a terror assault in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
