Shami returns to Indian crew after 14 months, picked for T20Is towards England

Practically 14 months after he final performed a global match, veteran seamer Mohammed Shami on Saturday returned to the Indian crew for the upcoming five-match T20I collection towards visiting England.

The 34-year-old Shami’s final outing for India was the 2023 ODI World Cup last towards Australia at Ahmedabad on November 19, after which he was out of the crew for a very long time attributable to an ankle damage for which he underwent surgical procedure final 12 months.
