Shooter useless after opening fireplace at U.S. Border Patrol constructing in Texas, officers say

A shooter opened fired at a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, on Monday morning, a Division of Homeland Safety spokesperson mentioned.

Border Patrol brokers and native police helped “neutralize” the shooter, in response to the spokesperson. Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley Sector, which has six stations alongside the border, reported that the suspect is useless.

Two officers and a Border Patrol worker had been injured, with one in all them shot within the knee, the DHS spokesperson mentioned, including that they went to the hospital.
