Slight decline in allocations for I&B Ministry

The budgetary allocations for the Info and Broadcasting Ministry recorded a slight decline from ₹4,626.71 crore to ₹4,358.38 crore this yr.

Whereas proposed funds for the institution expenditure of the Ministry are pegged at ₹142.70 crore, some ₹38.27 crore for Artwork and Tradition, and ₹401.53 crore for Info and Publicity have been allotted.

Prasar Bharati has been allotted ₹2,379.70 crore; Movie and Tv Institute of India (Pune) ₹89.11 crore; Satyajit Ray Movie and Tv Institute (Kolkata) ₹52.45 crore; Indian Institute of Mass Communication ₹108.65 crore; Press Council of India ₹10.48 crore; and Nationwide Movie Improvement Company ₹17 crore.
