Stalin accuses Centre of ‘revenge, blackmail, coercion’ since TN rejected NEP

Since Tamil Nadu rejected the Nationwide Schooling Coverage 2020 and the three-language coverage, the Centre has resorted to “open blackmail”, snatched away Rs 2,152 crore meant for the state, and given it to different states, chief minister M.Okay. Stalin alleged on Sunday.
In a publish on X, Stalin wrote: “The Union BJP Authorities’s unjust angle in opposition to Tamil Nadu is aware of no bounds! For rejecting the imposition of NEP2020 and the three-language coverage, they resorted to open blackmail, snatching away Rs 2,152 crore meant for Tamil Nadu’s college students and now they’ve handed it over to different states. That is nothing in need of coercion, punishing our college students for standing up for his or her rights.”
