States Can not Refuse To Implement Waqf Regulation, Says BJP

States can’t refuse to implement the Waqf Modification Act, the BJP asserted on Monday citing constitutional provisions, and slammed the Congress and different INDIA bloc constituents over their continued opposition to the regulation.

“They maintain the Structure of their pockets whereas the BJP and the NDA (Nationwide Democratic Alliance) maintain the Structure of their hearts. This can be a combat between those that maintain the Structure of their pockets and people who maintain it of their hearts,” he stated.

Latching on to the remarks made by the Karnataka and the Jharkhand ministers, the BJP spokesperson dared the Congress and its allies to take motion in opposition to them.
