Take away Aurangzeb’s grave! VHP, Bajrang Dal agitate in Nagpur

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal staged an illustration in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on 17 March, Monday, demanding the removing of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s grave in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Activists of the right-wing organisations gathered on the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj within the Mahal space, raised slogans and burnt an effigy of Aurangzeb.

Speaking to reporters, the VHP’s regional secretary (Maharashtra and Goa), Govind Shende, mentioned the outfit has began its agitation towards Aurangzeb and his tomb in Khuldabad in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
