Srinagar: Actor Akshay Kumar expressed shock and condemned the fear assault on vacationers in Pahalgam on Tuesday.
Taking to X, he wrote, “Horrified to know of the fear assault on vacationers in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill harmless individuals like this. Prayers for his or her households. “

The firing incident, which passed off earlier on Tuesday, focused vacationers within the Pahalgam space of Anantnag district. A number of the vacationers have been confirmed injured and brought to native hospitals. The Jammu and Kashmir authorities has not issued an official assertion on casualties.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier directed Union House Minister Amit Shah to take all obligatory measures. Shah confirmed that he had briefed the Prime Minister and would go to Srinagar to carry a high-level safety assessment assembly.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh referred to as the assault “extremely reprehensible,” whereas Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge urged the federal government to behave decisively.
