TMC On Viral Cop Menace Name: ‘We Do not Endorse Anubrata Mondal’s Feedback’

TMC chief Anubrata Mondal’s purported audio clip allegedly threatening a cop in West Bengal went viral. The BJP attacked the Mamata authorities over the matter.

Trinamool Congress on Friday distanced itself from Anubrata Mondal’s “unacceptable abusive language” used throughout a viral audio clip with a West Bengal police official and instructed him to tender an unconditional apology inside hours; failing to take action would provoke present trigger proceedings towards him.

We strongly condemn his use of derogatory & unacceptable abusive language. This comes shortly after the Bharatiya Janata Celebration on Friday launched a stinging assault on the ruling Trinamool Congress after a purported viral audio clip confirmed Mondal allegedly threatening a police official over the cellphone.

After the clip went viral, a case was registered towards the TMC chief, who can also be a former Birbhum president of the get together.
