A gasoline company truck caught fireplace in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district on Monday afternoon, triggering a sequence of explosions in additional than 300 LPG cylinders loaded on it, officers stated.

No casualties had been reported within the incident, however frightened villagers evacuated the realm close to the gasoline company warehouse, Further Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mukesh Chandra Mishra stated.

He stated the truck carrying greater than 345 LPG cylinders, owned by Mahalaxmi Fuel Company, caught fireplace attributable to unidentified causes close to Rajau Parsapur village in Bithri Chainpur space.

The blaze led to successive explosions within the cylinders, creating panic within the surrounding villages, he stated.

Upon receiving data, police and fireplace brigade personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames after about two-and-a-half hours of efforts, he added.

Locals stated the explosions had been heard as much as three kilometers away, and cylinder fragments had been discovered scattered in fields almost half a kilometre from the positioning.
