Trump considers sanctions on Putin amid frustration over Ukraine struggle, calling out “bullshit” from Russian chief

U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned on Tuesday (July 8, 2025) he was not pleased with Russian President Vladimir Putin and was contemplating further sanctions on Moscow, underscoring his frustration over the rising loss of life toll in Russia’s struggle with Ukraine.

“We get quite a lot of bullshit thrown at us by Mr. Putin,” Mr. Trump mentioned throughout a gathering with cupboard officers on the White Home.
