Two arrested for committing thefts throughout Budameru floods

The Ajit Singh Nagar police arrested two thieves, V. Nagaraju and Vallepu Srinivas, on Friday, January 3, who allegedly dedicated thefts through the Budameru floods in September final yr.

The accused, each natives of Vaddera Colony, allegedly broke open the locks of three homes at Nandamuri Nagar and Luna Centre and stole silver ornaments. On Thursday, police recovered 454 grams of silver ornaments from them.

In one other case, police took two minor boys into custody and recovered 72.56 grams of gold, silver ornaments weighing about 316 grams and ₹10,000 money from them.
