UP Instructor Arrested For Sexually Harassing Scholar; Faculty Sealed Over Violations

A personal faculty trainer within the Budhana space of Uttar Pradesh has been arrested for sexually harassing a 16-year-old woman scholar, police reported on Thursday. 

The suspect, 35-year-old Shehzad, was arrested on Wednesday. He has been charged below Sections 74 (assault or prison power to a girl with intent to outrage her modesty), 75 (sexual harassment), and 351 (prison intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), together with provisions of the Safety of Youngsters from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, stated Budhana Circle Officer Gajendra Pal Singh.
